This free checker queries your domain’s live DNS for SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and MX records — the authentication that decides whether your email reaches the inbox or the spam folder. Missing or misconfigured records are the most common reason cold and transactional email gets filtered.
What does each record do?
- SPF lists the servers allowed to send mail for your domain. A receiving server checks the sending IP against it.
- DKIM adds a signature to each message that the receiver verifies with a public key in your DNS, proving the message was not changed in transit.
- DMARC tells receivers what to do when SPF or DKIM fails (nothing, quarantine or reject) and where to send reports, and it requires the visible From domain to align with them.
- MX records say which servers receive mail for your domain. They do not affect sending, but a domain with no MX looks unfinished to some filters.
How do I read the results?
A record marked missing needs to be added at your DNS host. A DMARC policy of p=none is a monitoring setting: it is the right place to start, then move to quarantine once your reports show only your own services sending. If DKIM shows as not found but you have set it up, your provider is probably using a selector this tool does not guess; check its admin panel for the selector name.
What should I fix first?
Fix SPF and DKIM before DMARC, because a strict DMARC policy on a domain with broken authentication will send your own mail to spam. What does this email deliverability checker do?

Why does DKIM sometimes show as not found?
DKIM records live under custom selectors that aren’t publicly discoverable. This tool checks the most common selectors, so a valid DKIM setup under a non-standard selector may not be detected. The result is best-effort.
Do I need SPF, DKIM, and DMARC?
Yes. All three authenticate your mail, and Gmail and Yahoo now require them for bulk senders. Missing or misconfigured records are a leading cause of email landing in spam.
